Viktor Garshnep is a documentary photographer from St. Petersburg, primarily working in the genres of urban and social landscape, streer photography. Member of the Union of Photographers. Viktor is a graduate of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences at St. Petersburg State University and a student at the DocDocDoc school of documentary photography.

In his works, Viktor pays great attention to color, light, geometry, and meticulously aligned composition. Enigmatic landscapes, seemingly deserted yet filled with numerous traces of human existence, shape the images of cities and countries. The human presence is rare but highly valuable in his photographs, often not as the main subject but rather as a unifying symbol, a ghost of the place.
